Be warned–this link is sort of graphic-heavy for those who are running on slower connection speeds or older computers.
This isn’t a lie, is it? I mean, after that whole disappointment of waiting and waiting for IAH games, and then more waiting…
I’m a little apprehensive though, as the English looks a little bit broken and undecipherable on some parts of the site. But hey, if it’s in English, I can’t complain. I just hope that there’s no IP block, as I really have been waiting and wanting to play ECO for ages ever since the possibility of an English version was available.
I don’t know how to get into closed beta, but I’ll probably check the website frequently for any clues. Either way, I’m happy, since ANY beta commencement means that the game is going to come out sooner or later.
Meanwhile, I’ve been looking for clues on making character builds. I mean, there really isn’t that much information on the specific stats of all the jobs, or how the races affect job stats.
Or is it that in Emil, it just doesn’t matter? Can I just choose whatever stats and race and job I want and still not have it be screwed up? As in, can I just wing it?
I know that in other MMORPGs I’ve played, I have done some serious calculations and skill tree arrangements because one wrong move screws up the character build…so it would be sort of nice if I didn’t have to worry about that this time around.
Anyway, I’ll admit it. The graphics and character customization appeals to me. I’m a sucker for that. Something just puts the graphics a step above the other “cute” MMORPGs out right now.
I was thinking of have either a Titania or Dominion Fencer, and then building it to Knight. Is there anything weird about that kind of build?
Also, I’m not too sure on this job progression.
I’m pretty sure that there are the “first” jobs, which include swordsman, fencer, etc. Then, after that are the “second” jobs, which can go in two directions. For example, a fencer can either become a knight or a dark stalker, right? So does that mean that the highest job level is the “second” job level?
Unlike RO, which I heard has recently added even a higher class than the transcendent class..
Well, I guess for my first character, I’ll just wing it to see if I can get the hang of it. It’s basically what I do for most MMORPGs I start on, it’s just that it’s depressing since my first character usually ends up being abandoned, and the improved second character usually becomes my main.
